Ok so I’m getting close to my thirties cough-cough, ok forties and there are some visible changes in my skin. I can see and feel dryness and blotchiness in my combination skin. My skin tone appears uneven and my concealer is my best friend these days. I am definitely not opposed to plastic surgery to help me look more youthful (no judgments please) but I have decided I will rule out all other alternatives first.
Recently, TULA launched a new skin care line that my friends have been raving about. I decided to give Tula a try and see if this was any better than other products I’ve tried. I had the opportunity to interview Dr. Roshini Raj, the creator of TULA skin care line. I found it interesting that she is a gastroenterologist and not a dermatologist. She had a very interesting approach to skin care.
I asked her what made TULA different from other skincare products out on the market? “We use many ingredients that are good for you internally and topically. Probiotics is quite unique in skincare and definitely and on the frontier. Very few products have this ingredient.”
Daily Tula Regimen includes:
- Purifying Face Cleanser
- Illuminating Face Serum
- Revitalizing Eye Cream
- Hydrating Day and Night Cream
My first step in looking more youthful is changing my facial regimen. I have spent hundreds of dollars on facial products that claim they are the best and will make you look more youthful. Lately I have resorted to cheap grocery brand facial products because quite honestly I don’t see a difference anyway. I am very impatient and want to see results right away. So that is why I decided to give Tula a three day challenge. This is enough time to rule out any allergies and or bad reactions such as: rashes and unwanted acne.

About Probiotics In Skin Care –A growing body of research, including the Journal of Applied Microbiology, the British Journal of Nutrition and the British Journal of Dermatology, showed that probiotics can have other health-promoting effects beyond digestive tract well-being, including skin health benefits. The topical use of probiotics has been showed to stimulate skin’s protective mechanism, improve the balance of the “good” bacteria in skin, guard against UV-induced damage and improve skin’s elasticity and collagen production.

My Three Day Log
Day 1
In the morning, I cleansed my face with the Tula Daily Purifying Face Cleanser. I massaged thoroughly and gently as instructed . Then I applied Day & Night Cream, followed by Illuminating Face Serum, and Revitalizing Eye Serum.
After cleansing I immediately looked in the mirror. There was an immediate shine under my bathroom light.
In the evening, I cleansed and applied Day & Night Cream.
Day 2
I followed Day 1 regimen-
I touched my skin and it felt softer. No acne or rashes were visible. This was important to me because more then often when I try a new product I have an immediate unwanted reaction.
Day 3
I followed same regimen as day 1 & 2-
Final Result- I was very pleased and noticed a visible difference. My skin felt much softer and appeared brighter. Since my challenge I have continued to use the product and absolutely love it! It is also totally affordable but feels expensive.
